The Land of the Yellowstone.....

Yellowstone National Park is one of the most amazing stops on the trip!  I don't think they group realized what wonders awaited us until after we had explored several of the stops!

Our first stop was the mudpots, and boy did they have a nice aroma!  The smell of sulfur hits you as soon as you pull into the parking lot.  But hey, it's all part of the experience!  As we walked through this area we saw many different types of boiling pools or mini volcanoes, but we also saw lots of wildlife!  check out the buffalo!

Our second stop was the upper falls!  WOW, is all you can say.  Not only was it breathtaking to see but the water was running so fast you could hear it from far away.

Our third stop was the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, it is a massive hole that reassembles the Grand Canyon.  The difference is that it is made of the yellow rock that Yellowstone is known for.

Our last destination in the park was Old Faithful!  The most famous and consistent geyser in the park, went off just for us!
